Despite very good intentions I’ve not been out running since Nike Run Club, more out of embarrassment than anything else! As it was our last day in Vegas I made the effort to have only final jog up and down the back and front of the Strip before we head off to San Francisco. Last night was a very late one in a sleazy off strip casino having a very late tea and beers so it was a bit difficult getting up.
Once I had dragged myself outside of the hotel it felt ok and I just replicated my run earlier in the week – up the back of the Strip to TI and back down the Strip via the Venetian. Another glorious morning but as it has been so unbearably hot over the weekend I’m looking forward to the cooler climes of San Francisco, although running up those hills might not be so pleasurable.
